Brenda Blind brings more than 30 years of experience in rehabilitation, case management, and relationship development to AICM – Michigan. Her career has been built around helping individuals with serious injuries access the professionals, services, and resources they need while developing strong relationships throughout Michigan’s rehabilitation community.
Brenda is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor whose background gives her a practical understanding of the challenges individuals and families face following a Motor Vehicle Crash (MVC) or other catastrophic injury. Her clinical experience allows her to understand a referral from more than a business development perspective—she understands the rehabilitation process, the importance of timely intervention, and the value of putting the right professionals in place early.
Throughout her career, Brenda has worked closely with physicians, rehabilitation professionals, nurse case managers, attorneys, insurance representatives, hospitals, treatment providers, and community organizations. Those longstanding professional relationships have given her an extensive understanding of Michigan’s rehabilitation network and the resources available to injured individuals throughout the state.
At AICM – Michigan, Brenda serves as Business Development Director, where she focuses on building relationships with referral partners and helping professionals better understand the role that independent case management can play in a client’s recovery. She works closely with attorneys, medical providers, rehabilitation organizations, and other professionals to identify individuals who may benefit from AICM – Michigan’s case management services.
What makes Brenda particularly valuable to AICM – Michigan is that she understands both sides of the referral relationship. She understands what referral sources expect from a case management company, and she understands the clinical responsibility that begins once AICM – Michigan accepts a client. Her role is not simply to generate referrals, but to develop professional relationships built on accessibility, communication, responsiveness, and trust.
Brenda is also actively involved in Michigan’s rehabilitation community and regularly represents AICM – Michigan at professional conferences, educational programs, networking events, and community activities. She believes that strong professional relationships ultimately translate into better resources and better outcomes for the individuals AICM – Michigan serves.
Through her role with AICM – Michigan, Brenda continues to expand the organization’s professional network while introducing more attorneys, physicians, rehabilitation providers, and injured individuals to AICM – Michigan’s approach to Care, Led by Experts™.
